Thank you for visiting! We are a family-based operation in Clear Lake MN. We started our herd of show Nigerians in 2019. We raise our animals to the best of our ability and base all breeding decisions on improving our herd. We take pride in our breeding program that produces goats with great genetics and similarly great personalities.

How we Breed
Our breeding program is centered around excellent milk production and conformation. We carefully select our breeding stock from strong bloodlines and choose goats that exhibit desirable traits.

We breed our goats in the fall, with our kids being born in the early spring. We ensure that our does are healthy and well-fed before and after breeding to ensure that they are in optimal condition to carry and deliver healthy kids. We also ensure that our bucks are healthy to increase the chances of successful breeding.
How we Raise our Goats

Once our kids are born, we give them the best care possible to ensure that they grow healthy and strong. All of our kids are disbudded and vaccinated on a schedule. Starting with the best milk we can provide we move them to a diet of high-quality hay, grains, and supplements, and ensure that they receive proper veterinary care and attention.

We make sure our kids are socialized from day one, handling them regularly to ensure that they are comfortable with and respectful of humans. This also makes them easier to handle as they grow older.

As our kids grow, we ensure that they have plenty of space to move around and play. We provide them with shelter and ensure that they have access to fresh water and quality hay.

Once our kids are weaned, we continue to monitor their growth and development. We select the best animals from each generation to continue our breeding program and retire those that no longer meet our standards.
